About
Why “joring”?
Joring comes from skijoring, a sport where a skier is pulled by dogs, horses, or a vehicle. Success depends on coordination between the skier and what pulls them.

The partnership
In skijoring, the skier must read the terrain, signal clearly, and steer with intent. The power comes from what's pulling you, but the direction comes from you.
Working with AI is the same. AI can accelerate you, but you still need to aim, constrain, verify, and steer.
Joring exists to measure and improve that partnership, for individuals and organizations alike.
The problem we solve
Organizations have invested heavily in AI tools, but have no way to measure effectiveness or prove ROI. They're flying blind.
Employees want to improve their AI skills but have no feedback loop. No coach to tell them what's working and what isn't.
Joring provides both: organizational visibility for leaders, and personalized coaching for everyone.
What we measure
Craft
Signals measuring clarity, context, constraints, and output specification. How effectively do they instruct AI?
Command
Signals measuring control and initiative. Who drives the interaction, the person or the AI?
Judgment
Signals measuring critical thinking. When do they trust AI? When do they verify? When do they reject?
